Here is the September "Elementary School" Artist Trading Card kit that will be given FREE with every order for the remainder of the month. The photo shows the front and backs of the 3 different 3" x 4" pieces of school cardstock from the Studio Calico Elementary Collection. You will receive 2 - 3" x 4" pieces of these in this kit. There is a vintage school image cut from one of the yourATCstore Back to School Collage Sheet, a strip of FabRips from Studio Calico to match the papers (you can cut into the FabRips piece determining how wide you would like it, and then just hold the sticker strip down and rip, creating a fringed piece of fabric ribbon). You will also receive part of a page from a 1950 Children's Dictionary, and a double sided alphabet or number card from a pack of Learning Cards. There will also be a yellow or blue (a letter or a number) felt sticker, a small piece of Creative Impressions Alphabet Twill Ribbon http://youratcstore.com/creative-impressions-m-53.html, an Apple or Schoolhouse charm, plus a blank ATC card and sleeve for your ATC Elementary creation.

End of August Free Artist Trading Card Kit

This is the FREE Artist Trading Card kit for the remainder of the month of August. This kit will also be given for orders in September until the "Elementary School" ATC kit is ready. We ordered new release papers for this kit at the Craft and Hobby Show in July. They haven't arrived at the store yet, but as soon as they do, the September "Elementary School" Artist Trading Card kits will be put together, photos uploaded to this store blog, and then placed with the September orders for the remainder of that month. The photo below shows the front and back of the 2 - 3" x 4" pieces of travel cardstock that you will receive in this kit. You will also receive a vellum sticker cut from the travel sticker collection sheet below the kit photo. A vintage postcard image, a strip of FabRips from Studio Calico to match the papers (you can cut into the FabRips piece determining how wide you would like it, and then just hold the sticker strip down and rip, creating a fringed piece of fabric ribbon). Also included is 3 small maps die-cut circles, a strip of brown fiber, and of course, a blank ATC card and sleeve for your ATC after it is created. You will also receive a silver sun charm that is not included in the photo below.

This is the travel sticker collection sheet. You will receive one of these with your kit.

Here is my Artist trading card using the kit. The arrows were cut out of the backside of the camera paper. I will demonstrate the map flower in my next newsletter.

Photos from the Summer Craft & Hobby Show

Hey guys! Just thought you all would enjoy seeing some photos that were taken at the Summer CHA Show that took place July 27-29th, 2010. It was held in Chicago, IL. It was 4 great days of fun, great conversations, crafting and sore feet.

This is the famous ATC artist, Bernie Berlin, author of Artist Trading Card Workshop. She was at the Art-C Booth at the show, a new brand from the C-Thru Ruler Co. The Art-C line is dedicated to mixed media artists and the of course, the ATC sensation. These great Artist Trading Card products that will be shipping in October. I can't wait to get these in amazing products in the store. You can see some of the new products behind us in the photo.

Hum, wonder who this is, LOL?! The incredible Tim Holtz. Oh, and me of course! This was early morning, so I don't look too awake yet. He was autographing his Sizzix, Texture Fades Embossing Folders which I was fortunate to receive; one of which will be given away to one lucky winner in the first yourATCstore October ATC swap/contest. Here is the beautiful Teresa Collins and I in front of her new scrapbooking line. She also has a new jewelry line full of sparkle and bling~ It was fun doiing the make and takes with her new product lines at her booth.

Here is a photo of with Suze Weinberg, one of the Signature Artists at Ranger Industries. Her demos were so neat to watch. She's amazing and fun!

Of course, I had to get my photo taken with Tim again. He also autographed my art apron for the second time; first time was in 2008. Tim's demos were great to watch! I also enjoyed his product samples that he created, as well as seeing and touching all of the new Idea-ology and Ranger products that will be released this Fall.

August ATC Kit of the Month

Here is the August Artist Trading Card kit of the month. This kit is given free with every order placed in the month of August. A Travel ATC Kit will be created soon for the end of this month. This will be posted when available, but for now the "All That Glitters" will be the kit you will receive. This month's theme is, "All That Glitters" full of glam, glitter and sparkle. You will receive 1 of the 3 in. x 4 in. glittery patterned pieces of cardstock (shown on the far left), plus one of the other 3 in. x 4 in. pieces. (Either the light blue or yellow). You will also be receiving both of the ribbon pieces shown, some lime green round sequins, a baby blue gem or pearl, 2 round yellow glitter balls and a square gold brad that has been dipped in orange glitter to match the cardstock. Also in this kit is an image are cut from the yourATCstore Actress Beauties from the 30's, 40's & 50's Collage Sheet and the word phrase ALL THAT GLITTERS. Patriotic 4th of July

Here is July's Artist Trading Card Kit of the month. This kit is given free with every order placed this month. This month's theme is "Patriotic 4th of July", so everything in this kit is red, white and blue, with lots of stars and stripes. You will receive 1 of the 3 in. x 4 in. glittery striped pieces of cardstock (shown on the far right), plus one of the other 3 in. x 4 in. pieces. (Either the firecracker or the faded flag one). You will also be receiving one of the patriotic red, white and blue pieces of ribbon, a gold star brad and a red, white or blue smaller brad. Also in this kit is a strip of vellum with random gold stars, plus a pinch of a variety of star sequins in red, white and blue. May 2010 FREE Artist Trading Card Kit

Sorry Bloggers! Boy, I can't believe it's been so long since I posted last. My store and familylife keeps me pretty busy.

Well here is the ATC kit that customer's will receive FREE with their orders for the month of May. It's called, "Springtime Birds and Butterflies". It features some wonderful colors just for Springtime. Your free kit will include only 2 of the 4, 3 in. x 4 in. paper selections shown in the photo (We'll choose either the butterfly paper and image, or the bird paper and image along with one other matching pieces of cardstock). You will also be receiving only one of the beautiful matching pieces of ribbon shown in the photo, one of the four flower or butterfly colored brads, 2 small Pearl Gem Stickers, a pinch of Springtime sequins not shown in the photo (which are pots with small hand diggers, butterflies, bees, roses, and a watering can, just to mention a few. There is also a blank white ATC card, and an ATC sleeve to place your masterpiece in once you have created your ATC. Clarification on March ATC St. Patrick's Day Kit

Hi there,

I wanted to clarify my last post on the March St. Patrick's Day Kit.

Normally, the current month's free kits is not put for sale until the following month. I decided to try and put the March kit for sale, as well as giving the same kit away free with everyone's orders. I started running out of things, so I decided to just give it away free and not sell it as well. If anyone would like to purchase extra March kits, then you will have to wait until April 1st. EVERYONE WILL STILL BE receiving a FREE St. Patrick's Day ATC kit with their orders when your purchase is over $10.00 worth of products. Just please note that there have been some changes to the previously posted St. Patrick's Day photo.

Some changes to the March Kit of the Month

I had such an overwhelming response for the March St. Patrick's Day Artist Trading Card Kit, that I ran out of some of the sequin embellishments I originally included in that kit. My supplies of the large metallic shamrocks, the small green leprochans, and the little pots of gold have been used up. I did find some 1/2 inch green shamrocks the other day, but was unable to repurchase the same St. Patrick's Day sequins. I will be substituting the 1/2 inch shamrocks for the remainder of the month, and will be taking this kit off of sale. I will still be including the small green and gold stars. I'm so sorry for this late change, and if I have disappointed anyone.

Geeze, it's almost the end of the month, and I am finally adding this month's free kit. So sorry guys! This is the kit that you will receive for FREE with every order throughout the month of Januray. It's themed "Snow Fun" with vintage ice skaters, snowmen, kids playing in the snow and sledding. I have over 100 different wintertime photos the I used for this kit, so no two kits are alike. Here's what you get:
There are 3 different pairs of cardstock that I've chosen to use with this kit. So you will receive one pair of these 3 in. x 4 in. pieces of cardstock, a vintage wintertime photo cut from our snow collage sheets, 1 - 3 inch piece of coordinating ribbon (4 shown in the photo), also one small piece of grey ribbon that has a snowflake printed on it then the words snow angel, and a tiny square piece that has a snowflake on it. And finally, one small brad in coordinating colors. You will also receive one blank white ATC card to use as your base, and a plastic ATC sleeve to protect your card after you're done with your creation.

Yesterday I received the new 7 Gypsies 4 in. x 6 in. Photo Trays in Black and White and more of the ATC Printer Trays in Black as well as new stock of the White. These make great Christmas gifts that you can personalize with family photos. Here is November's Free Artist Trading Card Kit of the Month

Here is a photo of the FREE November ATC kit. The theme is Ancestry. For those newbees, this ATC kit is given to customers for any order they place in the month of November. Although, I have added 3 different colors of Bazzill cardstock to the mix. Here is the list of items that you will receive in your kit: 2 - different pieces 3" x 4" cardstock, a vintage photo, a piece of 1" x 4" matching cardstock, some vintage lace, a cream/white button (they are very old, some 75 years), a clear Acrylic ATC (these are brand new; this way you get a free sample), a blank white 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" card, and lastly, a sleeve to slide your ATC into once you're done. A silver charm will also be included with every order. Don't forget too, you can always some of your own stash when creating your ATC.

So many people have asked if I was going to make a Thanksgiving FREE ATC Kit. So starting on Tuesday, Novemeber 24th, I will be giving away Thanksgiving ATC kits with all orders received through the rest of the month. Here's October's FREE Artist Trading Card Kit of the Month

October's ATC Kit

The theme of this kit is Halloween/Fall. Kits are chosen from the items in the photos.

Above is a photo of all the different items that are available for this month's kit. This FREE Halloween/Fall ATC kit is placed in every order for the month of October. I couldn't fix the yellowish tone of the photo. I will correct this and get a better picture soon.

Here is the list of items that you will receive in your kit:
2 - different 3" x 4" patterned themed Fall/Halloween cardstock (so many different ones this time!), a vintage photo from one of our collage sheets, a piece or 2 of the Halloween/Fall ribbon, a strip of black glitter cardstock cut with zigzag scissors, a black sequin, a few Halloween shaped sequins, (skeleton, flying witch, trick-or-treat etc.), blank white 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" ATC card and a sleeve to place your ATC into once you are done. A silk fall leaf, and a charm will also be included in your order. Don't forget, you can always some of your own stamped images, paper, embellishments, etc.

More 7 Gypsies ATC Artist Printer Trays Coming!
