My Photo Booth Artist Trading Card

"Photo Booth" February ATC Kit 2013

Here is my ATC that I made this afternoon with our current free artist trading card kit, "Photo Booth".  I created this by using only the items that were included in this month's ATC kit.  I came up with so many different ones using the double-sided Film Strip cardstock piece and the tickets, but this is my final creation.  I loved the teal and cream striped back of the Film Strip paper and had a hard time chosing whether to use it with a piece of the film strip, but decided on this.  I may just open up another kit, just to create one more, LOL!  I will post one here and on my facebook page if I do.  I even had some items and paper scraps left over to use on a future ATC.  I keep all my scraps because the small pieces are perfect for such a small canvas size.  Enjoy!

ATC made from the August kit of the month

My Retro Bathing Beauty Artist Trading Card

Here is my ATC that I made with the items contained in this month's ATC kit. First, I inked the outside rim of the playing card included in the kit.  I used the Core'dinations paper and the 2 glitter strips to make a beach for my retro gal.  I sanded the tan paper to bring out the core color of the paper.  I then spread glue with my finger, and sprinkled the Flower Soft Sand to create my beach.  I then tore and layered the blue and white glitter papers to make it look like a wave was coming into shore.  I layered and glued all three pieces.  I cut the loop off of the bronze sand castle charm and glued it to the card.  I chose the wave design side of the Fishies paper to mat my retro beauty and glued it to my playing card.  I then cut out the words "Retro Beauty" and the beach ball and glued them to the ATC.   Lastly, I layered the palm tree die cuts which are included in the kit, and then placed the pop dot behind the green palm leaves before gluing it to complete my ATC.  There you go!  Have fun creating with this ATC kit which will be included in every order throughout the month of August.

Here are the five Retro Beach Beauties that we have chosen for this kit
One of these bathing beauties will be included in your kit.

Each May Artist Trading Card kit will include 2 - 3 in. x 4 in. papers (an aqua blue with white pocka dots, and a coordinating newsprint butterfly piece), and a collage image of the mushroom, a butterfly and a vintage child.  These images will need to be cut out and layered in order to create your own butterfly fairy to mount onto the background of your choice.  This kit also includes a piece of olive green satin ribbon, an orange twill, as well as an olive green leaf ribbon.  I have also printed out the words Believe, Fairy, Wings and Butterfly.  You can use one word, combine 2 words or use them all; it's your choice.  Just cut them apart, ink them, and just glue.  There is also a silver butterfly side-view charm, a 2 1/2 in. x 3 1/2 in. blank white ATC card and now finally back in stock, a new vellum glassine 3 in. x 4 1/2 in. envelope to place your completed ATC into.
