This Far East Artist Trading Card kit comes with gorgeous paper from DCWV paper Stock "Far East". This is a paper pad with a variety of Oriental themed paper, which is just perfect for this month's kit. I am also punching mini paper flowers from the DCWV Taj Mahal Mat Stack. Here is a photo of the paper samples from both paper pads.
You will receive 2 different 3 in. x 4 in. pieces cut from the Far East Paper Pad. You will also receive a 1 in. x 4 in. piece of Best Creations Glittered Paper Fu Happiness Words. There is also an Oriental image that is cut from one of our Far East Collage Sheets. I have punched mini flowers from the DCWV Taj Mahal Mat Stack which has 24 different colorful foiled and glittered design papers. There will be 5 different mini paper flowers in your kit for you to embellish and decorate your ATC. This kit also includes a brass Chinese coin charm, a German Scrap Dresdan Gold Foil of 3 Chinese lanterns, and a piece of gold string. Last, but not least, a blank white 2 1/2 in. x 3 1/2 in. artist trading card and an ATC sleeve for your finished masterpiece.
Well, I loaded up one of our holders with some of the ATCs that I've made over the years. Wow, some even go back to 2005. I had no idea that I had created so many Artist Trading Cards! I hung 25 ATCs from each arm, for a total of 150 ATCs on this holder. I also tied different ribbons and fibers onto the top of some of the hanging bags to add some of my personality to my holder. You definitely can fit a lot more. I just didn't want to have to pull all of my ATCs out of my Artist Trading Card albums. I have them categorized according to swap themes, and that would take me forever to find the spot again for each one. We will also be coming out with unstained ATC holders, as well as white ATC holders, but that will be probably towards the end of the summer.

Here is the Artist Trading Card Kit of the Month that will be given FREE with each order during the month of February 2012. This kit comes with beautiful gold embossed Valentine paper filled with cupid/cherubs and gorgeous pastel flowers. As soon as it is back in stock, I will have it available for purchase. You will receive one of the 3 in. x 4 in. gold embossed papers, and a 3 in. x 4 in. piece of coordinating double-sided blush and peach rose paper (the bottom corner is folded to show the back side of the paper). You will see two different double-sided coordinating 1 in. x 4 in. strips of paper folded so you can see both sides; one of these will be chosen to be included in your kit. There is also a chipboard heart, and a white Prima Marketing flower that can be painted, misted, glittered, etc., to attach and match your creation. There are two different ribbon pieces shown in the photo. One of the ribbons is red with white hearts and is reversible. The other is white with small red glitter hearts; one of the ribbon pieces will be in your kit. We also have included a detailed silver heart charm with flourishes and a soft pink brads as shown in the photo. You can use the charm for your project, or a piece of altered jewelry. This kit is titled "Snow Bunny", a winter themed ATC Kit, that will be placed free in every order during the month of January 2012. It features 2 different 12 in. x 12. double-sided winter wishes themed papers with white, soft greys and soft hunter greens. There are two different 3 in. x 4 in. pieces included your kit. I have bent corners down on the paper to show the back sides of the cardstock. I chose 3 snowflake dies from the Spellbinders Shapeabilities Create-a-Flake 3 snowflake dies to make snowflakes for this month's kit. I used my Spellbinder Cutting Machine to cut and emboss three different snowflake designs that you see in the photo. Two different snowflakes will be included in your kit. The paper snowflakes can be inked, painted, glossed, or glitter etc. to create an unique embellishment for your artist trading card. I have also chosen three different vintage winter/snow themed collage images for this kit; one of the three will be included in your kit. There will also be a piece of silver dresden foil trim, and a clear transparency with the words Snow Bunny as shown in the photo. Also included will be a silver snowflake sequin, and a silver snowflake charm. Plus you will receive either a royal blue snow hat brad, or a royal blue mitten brad. Lastly, will be a blank white artist trading card to use as your base, and a clear Artist trading card sleeve to place your completed ATC into.
OK, here is the Christmas ATC kit for December. A very festive holly themed Christmas kit. There are two 3 in. x 4 in. pieces of double-sided cardstock, and a 1 in. x 4 in. piece of coordinating double-sided paper all from the Kaisercraft December 25 collection. Also included is one of the 6 different die-cut December 25 Christmas tags (One shown that has a Santa on it). There is also an image of Christmas holly that has been stamped with black Staz-on ink to that the image does not smear if you would like to use markers or watercolors to color the image. There is also a piece of corrugated C-Fluted kraft paper that is great for painting, inking, sanding tearing and more. I have this paper available on the website as sheets or perfectly cut ATC cards. Also included is a piece of cream and burgandy Christmas music paper, a piece of green, red and gold color-twisted cord, a swatch of burgandy ribbon with gorgeous gold holly and flourishes, a silver holly charm with a silver brad to attach it with, and a few holiday sequins to match this kit. Lastly, an ATC blank white card and an ATC sleeve to placed your completed ATC into when you have finished your creation.

The only item I added to these ATCs that was not in the kit was the white ribbon. It needed something, so I thought that would be perfect. It almost looks like a stocking at a quick glance, but I made the above ATC using the mini tag that comes in the kit. Santa was cut from the left side of the tag.
I made this one with the holly stamped image that comes in the kit. I colored the holly with watercolor pencils, cut around it, then distressed and curled the holly leaves to make it pop off of the ATC. You'd be surprised what you can do with an image stamped on plain white paper. I used the double-sided paper bits that were cut from the 3 in. x 4 in. after I cut down my paper to 2 1/2 in. x 3 1/2 in. for my ATC background. I save every little piece! I love the new Corrigated ATCs! A kraft piece will be included in this. Paint it, ink it, distress it, stamp it...oh so many things to do with this! Below is my Clowning Around ATC. My ATC was made with only items in this kit, although I didn't use every item in the kit. You can save the extras for another ATC later. I cut out the orange banner from on of the 3 in. x 4 in. pieces and glued it to the chipboard that is included in the kit. I also used chipboard on the clown hat (that I colored to match my clown), and the triangle at the bottom of the card.
