My Steampunk Artist Trading Card

Here is my Steampunk ATC that I made from the June Artist Trading Card Kit of the Month.  I had a lot of paper pieces left, as well as the hot air balloon charm, and the grey waxed linen.  The only additional items I used was scissors, glue, a blue and yellow colored pencil, and Pop Dots.  Everything else was included in the kit.  So enjoy!  Please feel free to leave me a comment!

Free June Steampunk Artist Trading Card Kit

Here is the Free Steampunk ATC kit that will be included with orders for June 2012. 

Not shown in the photo below is the word, "Steampunk", which is made from the coolest Steampunk font.  You can see this in the above posting of my ATC that I made from this kit. 

 Included in the kit:

1 - small piece of sandpaper to sand the Core'dinations papers

2 - 2 in. x 3 in. coordinating paper pieces

5 - different Steampunk collage images

2 - different punched scalloped oval coordinating paper pieces (1 - tan scripted & 1 with gears)

1 - white fluted paper piece

1 - silver hot air balloon charm

1 - 6 in. piece of grey irish waxed linen

1 - micro mini metal brad

1 - original watch hand

1 - small glue dot to use to attach your watch hand and charm

Here is a photo of some of the Steampunk images that I chose to use for this kit.  Each Steampunk ATC kit will receive 5 different Steampunk collage images that can be used to create your ATC or other altered art project.   Use images as is, or color them with colored pencils and cut them out to create your own unique collaged ATC. 

Included in your kit are 2 different Core'dinations Embossed Impression paper pieces, as well as a small piece of sandpaper.  The embossed impression on the papers below have been sanded to show the inner core of the paper which brings out the detail of the embossed image.  Easy Peasy!  Also in the photo below is a closer look at the small embellishments in the kit.

May's Free Artist Trading Card Kit is "Butterfly Fairies"

Here is the May 2012 ATC Kit of the Month titled, "Butterfly Fairies"

Each May Artist Trading Card kit will include 2 - 3 in. x 4 in. papers (an aqua blue with white pocka dots, and a coordinating newsprint butterfly piece), and a collage image of the mushroom, a butterfly and a vintage child.  These images will need to be cut out and layered in order to create your own butterfly fairy to mount onto the background of your choice.  This kit also includes a piece of olive green satin ribbon, an orange twill, as well as an olive green leaf ribbon.  I have also printed out the words Believe, Fairy, Wings and Butterfly.  You can use one word, combine 2 words or use them all; it's your choice.  Just cut them apart, ink them, and just glue.  There is also a silver butterfly side-view charm, a 2 1/2 in. x 3 1/2 in. blank white ATC card and now finally back in stock, a new vellum glassine 3 in. x 4 1/2 in. envelope to place your completed ATC into.

Here are the 3 different butterflies and a few of the vintage children that will be chosen for the kit. 

Here is my Butterfly Fairy Artist Trading Card that I made from the items in the May kit.  I cut two of the butterflies out of the newsprint butterfly paper and attached them to the olive green leaf ribbon.  You can also see how I cut out, arranged and glued the 3 collage images (the mushroom, butterfly and vintage child).   I chose the 2 words "Fairy" and "Wings", cut and inked them to match too.

April's Free Artist Trading Card Kit "The Far East"

Here is the April 2012 Free Oriental Artist Trading Card Kit of the Month

"The Far East"

This is given free with orders throughout the rest of this month. Next month's free kit will be "Butterfly Fairies".

This Far East Artist Trading Card kit comes with gorgeous paper from DCWV paper Stock "Far East". This is a paper pad with a variety of Oriental themed paper, which is just perfect for this month's kit. I am also punching mini paper flowers from the DCWV Taj Mahal Mat Stack. Here is a photo of the paper samples from both paper pads.
You will receive 2 different 3 in. x 4 in. pieces cut from the Far East Paper Pad. You will also receive a 1 in. x 4 in. piece of Best Creations Glittered Paper Fu Happiness Words. There is also an Oriental image that is cut from one of our Far East Collage Sheets. I have punched mini flowers from the DCWV Taj Mahal Mat Stack which has 24 different colorful foiled and glittered design papers. There will be 5 different mini paper flowers in your kit for you to embellish and decorate your ATC. This kit also includes a brass Chinese coin charm, a German Scrap Dresdan Gold Foil of 3 Chinese lanterns, and a piece of gold string. Last, but not least, a blank white 2 1/2 in. x 3 1/2 in. artist trading card and an ATC sleeve for your finished masterpiece.

Well, I loaded up one of our holders with some of the ATCs that I've made over the years. Wow, some even go back to 2005. I had no idea that I had created so many Artist Trading Cards! I hung 25 ATCs from each arm, for a total of 150 ATCs on this holder. I also tied different ribbons and fibers onto the top of some of the hanging bags to add some of my personality to my holder. You definitely can fit a lot more. I just didn't want to have to pull all of my ATCs out of my Artist Trading Card albums. I have them categorized according to swap themes, and that would take me forever to find the spot again for each one. We will also be coming out with unstained ATC holders, as well as white ATC holders, but that will be probably towards the end of the summer.

March 2012 Alice in Wonderland Monthly ATC Kit

"Everything Alice", Alice in Wonderland of course!

This will be the Artist Trading Card kit of the month that you will receive free with orders placed this March 2012. February 2012 Artist Trading Card Kit

"Sweet Nothings" Valentine Kit

Here is the Artist Trading Card Kit of the Month that will be given FREE with each order during the month of February 2012. This kit comes with beautiful gold embossed Valentine paper filled with cupid/cherubs and gorgeous pastel flowers. As soon as it is back in stock, I will have it available for purchase. You will receive one of the 3 in. x 4 in. gold embossed papers, and a 3 in. x 4 in. piece of coordinating double-sided blush and peach rose paper (the bottom corner is folded to show the back side of the paper). You will see two different double-sided coordinating 1 in. x 4 in. strips of paper folded so you can see both sides; one of these will be chosen to be included in your kit. There is also a chipboard heart, and a white Prima Marketing flower that can be painted, misted, glittered, etc., to attach and match your creation. There are two different ribbon pieces shown in the photo. One of the ribbons is red with white hearts and is reversible. The other is white with small red glitter hearts; one of the ribbon pieces will be in your kit. We also have included a detailed silver heart charm with flourishes and a soft pink brads as shown in the photo. You can use the charm for your project, or a piece of altered jewelry.
