Butterfly themed ATC kit for May 2017!!

Here is our Artist Trading Card kit for this month.  This month's kit was inspired by the Graphic 45 Nature Sketchbook and the beautiful bright butterflies.  We are using 2 different papers from this collection: the Diary of a Botanist, with 16 different images, and the Monarch Majesty which is nothing but butterflies.

Here is a list of what is included in this month's kit:
1 - 3 in. x 4 in. Graphic 45 Nature Sketchbook double sided paper, Monarch Majesty
1 - 2 1/4 in. x 2 3/4 in.Graphic 45 Nature Sketchbook double sided paper, Diary of a Botanist.  There are 16 different 2 1/4 in. x 2 3/4 in. design rectangles that will be cut from this paper. (The paper will be cut where you see the brown divider color) See the photo below to take a peek at the paper.
1 - 2 1/2 in. x 3 1/2 in. ATC cut from Core'dinations paper Polar Ice (aqua color)
1 - 2 1/4 in. x 3 1/4 in. Bazzill orange paper
1 - 1/2 in. x 4 in. Core'dinations Black Magic Paper, Hermit with tan underneath.  Great paper for sanding to have the tan show through.
3 - butterflies cut from a butterfly paper punch.  One yellow, one vintage music, and one yellow plaid.  There will be instructions included to make a fluttering 3-D butterfly.  I will also be uploading some step by step photos so you can see how the 3-D butterfly is made.
1 - piece of orange waxed linen thread
1 - gold leaf vine ribbon piece
1 - 8mm orange or aqua blue brad (aqua blue is not pictured in the photo)
2 - silk cream flowers - put the brad through both of the flowers and make it become a flower for your gold leaf ribbon
1 - brass wire butterfly embellishment.  This is very thin, but can be glued and used for this ATC or perhaps another project.  I couldn't resist them when I saw them and had to buy them for this kit this month.
1 - "Fluttering By!" word phrase for your ATC that has been professionally printed for you.
1 - clear ATC sleeve

You will receive directions on how to make your 3-D butterfly.  These are the photos that go along with the directions, so if you have any questions about them, please refer to these photos for some visual aid.  Once complete you can fold the wings up and attach your 3-D fluttering butterfly to your ATC.

This is one of the main papers that we have chosen for this month's kit.  This 12 in. x 12 in. paper will be cut into 12 - 3 in. x 4 in. pieces of which one will be in the kit.

This is the other paper that we have chosen for this month's kit.  This 12 in. x 12 in. paper will be cut into 16 -  2 1/4 in. x 2 3/4 in. pieces of which one will be in the kit.
